Wolf is my response to the shouting voices who protect their reputation rather than community - a small choir of survival. A sonic remembering of something too gruesome to forget, yet buried too far to reach within the crevices of our bodies.
No one is safe from patriarchal control until we all are.
When will you learn to be brave?


For anyone who has experienced sexual assault, across gender identities:

May you find solidarity and validation here and within your world.
May you reconnect to softness within the parts of your body that have fortified for your protection.
May you give yourself grace during that process.
May your boundaries be honored with ease and excitement.
May you be heard.
May you be believed.
May you be loved and loving.

May we together actualize a world in which songs such as Wolf are utterly unrelatable.
