Bare Withness 1 ~ After the Rain

This is an original composition and videography project in which I give thanks to the more-than-human world through documentation and composition. You can find the video that this work accompanies on my Patreon or on my YouTube. It is a part of a monthly prompt and series I've created for myself. I composed and created each element in this song with the exception of the use of two drum samples. For all guitar, string, vocals, and percussion, they were played in the room in direct response to the video I created.

I really appreciate people who are brave enough to show growth and to show the learning process, so I want to be a part of that ecosystem. I love a good delayed gratification, and it's exciting that I will be able to share this process with all of you as well!

For the Bare Withness project, I plan to share intimate moments I've experienced with the natural world via video and then create an original composition. Please let me know your thoughts about the audio component!
