Green Tree Top’s is what we thought 2020 would sound like.
Recorded, mixed and mastered January 1st 2020 in the mountains of Middletown CA, Green Tree Tops is our uncovering of possibilities. The room was small but the vibe was ginormous. This song was the last thing Annabelle Maginnis, Lafemmebear and Def Sound made pre covid and the first thing they all made together in person.
Green Tree Tops is our collage of optimism.
This song pulls at the veil of challenges we are faced with and urges us to go beyond. While optimism may be dismissed as ambivalent, we created this with the knowledge that optimism is not a distraction, but rather a solution that takes dedication and hard work.
We know music is a healing mechanism. While it’s not always a cure, we hope this helps.
In the words of Lafemmebear;
